Biography
Cheryl is a senior physiotherapist with over 10 years of clinical experience in women’s health, paediatric pelvic health, orthopaedic rehabilitation, scoliosis management, and clinical pilates.
Working at the heart of women’s and children’s health, she offers a continuum of care that supports the whole family. She provides expert guidance across a diverse range of concerns - from managing pelvic floor dysfunctions and post-partum recovery to treating a sprined ankle.
Cheryl’s experience spans both tertiary hospital and private practice settings, including her foundational years at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital and subsequent senior roles in private practice. Her sessions are comprehensive and highly individualised so that patients leave with a clear understanding of their condition and treatment plan.
With over a decade of experience in clinical Pilates, Cheryl often integrates movement and functional rehabilitation into her care. She also utilises dry needling to effectively treat pain and muscular dysfunctions. Her approach is evidence-informed, practical, and focused on helping patients recover with confidence while building long-term physical resilience.
As a mother of three, Cheryl brings both professional expertise and personal insight to her work with women, children, and families. She understands how physical health, family life, recovery, and everyday demands often overlap, and offers continuity of care across different life stages.
Cheryl’s approach
Cheryl takes time to understand the full picture - from immediate symptoms to your long-term family and lifestyle context. Her care combines clinical reasoning with practical rehabilitation, ensuring that each session provides both effective treatment and the clarity needed to navigate the recovery journey.
Patients can expect a thoughtful assessment and tailored treatment plan. Depending on clinical needs, Cheryl utilises a range of modalities including manual therapy, dry needling, movement retraining, clinical pilates, and home strategies to ensure that progress continues beyond the clinic.

Personal Note
Outside the clinic, I love being outdoors with my husband and three young ones. I find balance through a good dose of quiet movement on the yoga mat, HIIT classes, and tennis in equal measure. My guilty pleasures include the occasional late-night Netflix binge and an unapologetic dedication to supporting local, with a soft spot for home-grown bakeries.
My passion for thoughtful movement also extends into my role as the co-founder of Mitera, a home-grown children’s shoe brand thoughtfully designed to support healthy foot development and everyday comfort.
Building Goji has been a dream come true - a space where women, children, and families can feel well cared for through different seasons of life. I hope that every patient who walks through our doors feels heard, understood, and empowered to live well at every life stage.
