Strength & Conditioning sessions help you build strength, improve movement capacity and progress towards your physical or sporting goals.

Each session is guided by a coach and adapted to your current ability, training experience and goals. Suitable for people who are medically well and ready to exercise independently without requiring assessment or treatment for an injury.

Who is Strength & Conditioning for?

Strength & Conditioning may be suitable if you want to:

  • Build strength and improve general fitness
  • Improve movement confidence and exercise technique
  • Return to regular exercise after completing rehabilitation
  • Prepare for running, sport or other physical activities
  • Improve balance, coordination and physical capacity
  • Maintain strength during pregnancy or after childbirth, where appropriate
  • Train with professional guidance and structured progression

What is included?

A typical session may include:

  • A brief check-in on how you are feeling and how your training has progressed
  • Strength training for the upper body, lower body, back and core
  • Balance, coordination or movement-control exercises
  • Resistance exercises to improve muscle tone and endurance
  • Coaching on posture, technique and breathing
  • Adjustments and progressions based on your ability

What is not included?

Strength & Conditioning sessions do not include physiotherapy assessment or diagnosis, treatment for a new or unresolved injury, clinical testing, or medical advice. They should not be used as a substitute for a physiotherapy consultation.

If you develop new pain or experience a significant change in your symptoms, your coach may modify or stop the session and recommend a separate physiotherapy assessment before training continues.

Strength & Conditioning sessions are available as a single a la carte session, or in 5-session and 10-session packs.
